• Are there any recurring or monthly fees?
  
  Answer: No. Unlike most other time and attendance products Clock Real Time from Kneson Software is a one time cost. After that you own the fully functioning system free of charge for life.
  
  
• Does the Clock Real Time Starter Bundle require any additional product to make the system functional?
  
  Answer: No. Regardless of the name, the Starter Bundle is the entire system that will allow you to clock users (employees, students, etc.) in and out without purchasing anything additional unless you need to purchase swipe cards.
  
  
• Can users be automatically clocked out and in for lunch, breaks or other pre-determined daily events?
  
  Answer: Yes. This can be set up in the Contract tab of the Time Clock Manager. Each user has an individual "contract" (the wording was created with employees in mind - but users of any type such as students can of course use this functionality). You would simply tell the system to deduct a 'lunch period' time of a certain amount when the Contract screen is initially set up. • Can blank swipe cards be individualized?
  
  Answer: Yes. Swipe cards cost at most $2 each and the cost goes down depending on quantity. Each card we sell is pre-encoded with a 4 digit code that can be printed on the front of the card before it is delivered to you making each one visually unique. Note: card orders over 100 can probably be purchased at less than $2 each - call 877-291-8583 for exact quote.
  
  
• Can the system be used in multiple locations?
  
  Answer: Yes. This will require an additional purchase of the Clock Real Time Manager software if you desire to see clock in and clock out events from multiple locations. See our order page for pricing here http://www.clockrealtime.com/order.html.
  
  
• Is there a limit to the amount of data that can be stored in the system?
  
  Answer: No - to a point. Clock Real Time Manager will handle as many users and store as much data as the hard drive connected to it will allow. In other words, data storage is limited to the size of the hard drive used.
  
  
• Can data be exported in popular file formats for backup?
  
  Answer: Yes. The Clock Real Time Manager application has an export function that will allow you to export each of the files used in the following formats:
  
  
  •  SDF - Standard Data Format
  •  CSV - Comma Separated Values
  •  DBF - DBase file
  •  ASC - Text (tab delimited)
  •  ASC - Formatted Text (space delimited)
